Steve Jobs Commencement Speech at Stanford in 2005
I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That’s it. No big deal. Just three stories.
The first story is about connecting the dots.
I dropped out of Reed...

Fields
“Open your eyes and look at the fields, for they are ready for harvest.” (Jn 4:35)
Do you see them? I say them because “them” is the harvest. Not a literal harvest but real people (many of whom we know and love) that need a REAL Savior. If you DO see them… pray.
“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to...

Stories My Friends Have Heard a Thousand Times...
PART 1:
I have a serious heart for missions. I actually spent 3 years as a missionary in Copenhagen, Denmark - it was amazing. Before that I had multiple opportunities to go on some short term mission trips. (If you’ve never been on one, they are life changing.) My first overseas experience was to a country in Asia. I am leaving out the name of the country because of the secrecy required...
